SwiftPatch is a small, bootstrapped team building the mobile deploy tool we wished had existed for the last decade.
SwiftPatch started as a Slack rant. One of us had just spent 72 hours nursing a one-character typo through App Store Review. The other was on their sixth month of maintaining a CodePush fork that predated Microsoft deprecating it.
We looked at each other and said: this is stupid. Billions of users. Eleven-figure industry. And the tooling to push a single line of JavaScript to a device is worse than git was in 2008.
So we started building. We've been shipping in the open since. This page tells you who we are and what we care about. If any of it resonates, come say hi.
A deploy tool you can't trust is worse than no deploy tool. Signed, reversible, observable, or we don't ship it.
If our pricing isn't on the pricing page, we don't have pricing. No 'contact sales' for anything under enterprise.
Slower is worse. If it's not in changelog by Friday, it's punted to the next sprint and we write about why.
The SDK is MIT. The CLI is MIT. Only the control plane is closed. Self-hosting is first-class at enterprise tier.
Shipped RN apps at two startups. Maintained a CodePush fork against his will.
